In honour of the cavalcade of festive gewgaws adorning Hong Kong (what is it about Christmas that allows for, even encourages, major lapses of taste and decorum?), here are a few of my favourite things. To use the Manchester vernacular - those earrings are MINGING!!! I normally like a slight sparkle around the neck and lobes but..... YUK! Less is definitely more when it comes to bling!
As a complete aside, Amethyst is my birth stone
You're not the only person my taste goes down badly with... "Ostentatious" was one of the politer comments. It just means we won't be fighting for them, right?
The ring looks like it's out of a cracker!
I can only hope they look better in reality than in the picture (which does happen!)....
Where we may agree to differ on jewellery, I still think your taste in shoes is amazing! :-)
