92...that's hardly a bad innings. Or were those 92 years of sorrow?
Tanaquil was paralysed by polio at the age of 27 and spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair. She lived until she was 71. It's Irving Penn who's just died, at the age of 92.
Ah, how did I get that so terribly wrong?
