Lovely, can smell it from here!
It is a little warmer in Sydney than Wellington obviously. My lavender is only just starting to come through. It does smell amazing though doesn't it?
This was a bit of a cheat, MSS - I bought four fully grown plants and transplanted them into the planter box. They seem to be thriving so far, though.
Lavandula Stoechas, or French lavender. Very pretty. And, being Mediterranean, forgiving of neglect up to a point. Don't overwater, though!
I'm sure you knew all this, anyway.
